with an orginal soundtrack composed and performed by Modi Li on the
Guzheng. Edited by Jocko Weyland with the help of Andrew Gooselin, Rick
Charnoski and Coan Nichols. Shot on a lent $10 Super 8 camera at the Ju Yong
Gate and in and around greater Beijing during June of 2005, "Beijing Summer"
includes footage of Danny Way's jump over the Great Wall as well as scenes
from the Chinese Army Museum, various parks and temples, exercise centers,
abandoned skateparks, bizarre signage, people sleeping on park benches, and
insect life at the Ming Tombs Reservoir. $15.
